Overview

By accessing or using MIMIC services you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not use MIMIC or you should immediately stop using MIMIC.

You acknowledge and agree that MIMIC may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of our services constitutes agreement to our revisions.

Violating any of the terms below may result in the termination of your account.

Account

  1. You may not use MIMIC for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  2. To access and use our services, you must register for a MIMIC account by providing a valid email address. If you opt for a paid account, additional information will be required for billing purposes. You may not maintain more than one free account.
  3. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We are not liable for any damage due to security issues resulting from your failure to do so.
  4. You must be 13 years or older to use MIMIC.

Service

  1. Your use of our services is solely at your own risk. You agree that such services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
  2. We make no warranty that the services will meet your requirements or that the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free; nor do we make any warranty that defects in the service will be corrected.
  3. Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any MIMIC customer or employee will result in immediate account termination.
  4. Support for MIMIC services is only available in English, via email. We provide no guarantees for level of support.

Content

  1. Your content is and will always remain your content. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.
  2. You grant us the right to display your content to other users of MIMIC, with respect to the privacy levels you set for the content.
  3. You agree that you will not post:
    • Content which may infringe any copyright or other proprietary right of any party.
    • Content that would encourage or provide instructions for a criminal offense or violate the rights of any party.
    • Private information of any third party, including surname (family name), addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social security numbers and credit card numbers.
    • Viruses, corrupted data or other harmful, disruptive or destructive files.

Privacy

By using MIMIC, you consent to our collection and use of personal data as outlined in ourPrivacy Policy.

Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Terms and Conditions must be brought in the courts of the Province of Ontario, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

Limitation of Liability

MIMIC and its employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use any of the services.
